It was a beautiful day in Hartford for the Civic Club's second annual Rival Run on Nov. 20. With 33 total runners/walkers, the rival score was 15 for Alabama, 11 for Auburn, 1 for Troy, 1 for Florida, and 1 for North Carolina! Alabama will be listed on the trophy in City Hall for the next year as the "Rival Run Winner" and will be listed first in the title for next year's run. Below are the official results of the race:

TEAM CHALLENGE: Sign up 3 or more runners as a “team” to be eligible to win special award for top 2 teams. (Teams of more than 3 members will take top 3 runners' times.) Must be registered as a team before race starts. Teams can be business, club, family or another school.)

BRAGGING RIGHTS: Last year was a tie, so Alabama is listed first because they won the Iron Bowl! The school with the most finishers wearing school colors wins the right to have their school's name listed first in the title of this race next year and on the official race trophy (located in Hartford City Hall)! Colors must consist of visible article of clothing (shirt, cap, shorts or socks).
